Details:

The biggest and best UK tournament of the year. 6 games at 4,000 points over 3 days with a bar, what more could the war gamer want!
Run by the BHGS Britcon is the national historical gamers tournament. Hundreds of gamers attend from around the world compete in many different wargame periods. There is also a healthy number of traders that put on stands so you can shop for more unpainted lead!

Schedule
Tables are available from 10am on Thursday 11th August for friendly warm up games. Last year a few of us arrived at midday on the Friday and played games then, which I'm sure we will be repeating this year.

Tournament games - Each game is scheduled to last 3.5 hours. You play one Friday night, 3 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.
Friday - Games to start any time after 18:00 and must start before 21:00. 23:59 is the latest games can finish.
Saturday - Game two starts at 08:15! Game 4 is scheduled to finish at 20:15. There is a fun pub quiz that starts at 22:30 with prizes and the period leaders are given their yellow jerseys afterwards.
Sunday - Game five starts at 08:30 and Game 6 is scheduled to finish at 17:00. You get a longer lunch break on Sunday to allow you to buy all those lovely figures on sale! The final presentation starts at 17:45 and is normally over by about 18:30.

Considering the number of entrants Britcon normally runs very close to the schedule.

To book visit the BHGS website and snailmail the entry form to the address on the site. See you there!
